Description from the seller
RARE AND HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER - ALMOST UNFINDABLE
CHANDLER “Dynamo” preamplifier
DYNAMO TUBE PREAMPLIFIER FOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
This electric instrument was designed and handcrafted in America using the highest quality components available with a vintage plexiglass front. It can be used in a wide variety of applications. While it's very simple to use, here are some guidelines to get the most out of your "Dynamo."
The "Dynamo" was originally designed for use with guitar amplifiers that don't have volume controls. Generally, most tube amplifiers start to sound their best around the "5" setting, where you can achieve smooth sustain and overdrive. Unfortunately, volume is often an issue when performing in smaller clubs.
The Dynamo preamp can be slightly or severely overdriven to give the APS dynamic crunch with the amp volume set to 2 or 3. Our preamps were designed to have a transparent sound: they still sound like your distorted guitar and amp, not like a processed clone of someone else's sound.
With the cost of vintage musical instruments skyrocketing, it's best to optimize your sound with a product like Dynamo to modify your guitar and/or amplifier.
