On offer is a fine full sized master violin, labeled: "Otello Bignami fece in Bologna 1980 Bignami Otello".
Back length (excluding bottom of neck): 354 mm.
Total length: 587 mm.
The width of the upper bouts: 166 mm; middle bouts: 110 mm; lower bouts: 206 mm.
The instrument is ready to play, restored, cleaned and polished in our workshop. No cracks. New rosewood fittings, new Aubert bridge and new strings.
The violin has one piece back made from beautiful flamed maple; the table is likewise matching of high quality, straight, high grained spruce. The sound is very rich, deep, powerful, suitable for solo or chamber music.
