Andrea Imwiehe Memory Room_18 *no reserve*, original acrylic painting with a sand texture on a high-quality wooden panel, 14 cm by 14 cm, interior scene, signed on the back, 2010, created in Germany, in minimalist style and white/creme colours.
Description from the seller
Andrea Imwiehe works with a combination of acrylic painting and line drawing, where the lines are drawn directly into the acrylic paint, thus forming a recessed relief.
"Memory Room" is an abstract exploration of space and memory. The acrylic painting enriched with sand texture gives the scene a tactile depth — as if the memory is anchored not only in lines and shapes but also in the surface itself. The sketchy depiction makes the space appear fragmentary, as if reconstructed from memory. The gentle, subdued colors enhance the feeling of transience, while the open composition allows space for personal associations. A silent snapshot that makes the fleeting and yet enduring nature of memories perceptible.
The artwork at a glance:
- From the series 'Memory Rooms' – impressions of memory spaces depicted in unique paintings.
Acrylic painting with thick, textured application - a unique surface structure.
Painted on a high-quality wooden surface, ready to hang immediately.
Signed on the back, numbered, and accompanied by all image information.
Shipping is carried out professionally wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap.
Certificate of authenticity included
