4 vols. [v.I: [i-v], vi-xx, [xxi-xxiv], [1], 2-308 pp.; v.II: [i-viii], [1], 2-335 pp.; v.III [i-
viii], [1], 2-312 pp.; v.IV: [i-viii], [1], 2-367, [368], [1-6*] pp.] Frontispiece [v.I]. 16 x 10,5 cm.
19th century leather with gold spine lettering and decorations on red and black panels.
The frontispiece to v.I is a portrait of Cervantes (H. Meyer sculpt.). Includes “Life of the
Author” extracted from Mayans y Siscar’s Life of Cervantes. Cheap edition, copying
the text of the oddy edition of 1809. List of “Books printed for the proprietors
of this edition of Don Quixote.”
