This text is that of the History of Dom Bougre, attributed to Jean-Charles Gervaise de Latouche, whose title has been changed here into an anagram. Printed in 450 copies, this being number 140. Illustrated edition with twelve color plates outside the text, very freely rendered, supplemented by two series of illustrations from earlier editions: a series of 22 black-and-white plates and a series of ten sepia plates.
