Selected is a 2013 Champagne from Emmanuel Brochet, 0.75 L, Extra Brut, from France, disgorged in 2022 with a dosage of 2 g/L, assemblage 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, produced as 1 bottle, fill level at 1 cm in a Burgundy/Champagne/Flute bottle, label and capsule fully intact, vineyard in Villers-aux-Noeuds with organic viticulture since 2008.
Description from the seller
Emmanuel Brochet hails from the Villers-aux-Noeuds village south of the city of Reims. He farms 2.5 hectares of vines, all located in a single parcel, and planted with all three major varieties with the oldest vines dating back to 1962. The vineyard was converted to organic viticulture starting with the 2008 vintage, which he does more out of respect for the land than something he necessarily believes results in better wine.
A late release from Emmanuel Brochet, this comes from the excellent 2013 vintage and was disgorged in November 2022 with dosage of 2g/L. Assemblage is 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Expect a full, rich, and gastronomic expression held in check with the crisp acid of the vintage. Production was 3586 bottles.
Our wines have always been bought "en primeur" and have since been kept in a cellar with controlled temperature and humidity. All wines are sent with premium and secured shipping (UPS). No export outside EU.
