BIO
I was born on December 4, 1984.
Since childhood, my family took me to the mountains in the Dolomites. There, I fell madly in love with the woods and wood sculpture, which is widely practiced in the towns, where shop windows were filled with eagles, marmots, and forest animals carved in wood.
This passion grows silently until the year 2012. That year, I came across a woodturning video and was captivated by the magic with which a block of wood could become a finished object. At that point, I decided to take a woodturning course. When I crossed the workshop door, I understood that this would become my life—the scent of the wood that reminded me so much of the forests, the dust, the old tools. I was in love.
Soon, woodworking would become my life.
To date, I work on wood turning and sculpture, have participated in various events across Europe, and take part in international exhibitions.
Fundamental to understanding my work is the deep connection I have with the tree and with wood.
The object is born together with Matter.
Sometimes I let her tell her story.
Sometimes she takes a step back and lets me speak.
When you tell your story, my role is to remain silent.
Sometimes it's the end, sometimes it's the middle; sometimes both.
In this universe, we always work together.
She changes me, and I change her.
Our connection is very deep.
When we are together, it is ritual, silence, emptiness, everything.
I exist together with You, You exist together with me.
We are.
