Rare opportunity to acquire a genuine collector’s moldavite from the famed Nesmer locality in South Bohemia, Czech Republic. This medium-sized specimen weighs 17.0 grams and measures 33 x 25 x 20 mm at its widest points.
The stone features a rich, deep green color, an irregular shape, and medium-deep sculpting typical of high-quality, natural moldavites. Its surface is very lightly worn in a few millimeter-sized areas, but overall remains crisp and attractive. Moldavites from Nesmen are highly sought after for their dramatic stony texture and vibrant hues.
Formed approximately 15 million years ago during a spectacular meteorite impact event, moldavite is a prized tektite and a unique geological treasure. Large, well-preserved stones from this location are rarely available and command significant collector interest.
