AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Eiken (oak) kidney-shaped side table, in very good condition.
Made in Belgium by designer Kris Devillé
Colors: black frame and solid oak top with a thickness of 4 cm.
- The 4 cm thick oak top has beveled edges at 45°, also called 'rejuvenated,' which creates a particularly beautiful optical effect on the table. The top has been planed and sanded and remains otherwise untreated. It exhibits a very distinctive grain pattern. It is made from the middle plank of the tree, which is the quarter-sawn plank; the heart of the tree runs through the plank, and the heart always cracks slightly, adding aesthetic value to the table. To the left and right of the crack, you can see the so-called mirrors, which are the transverse vascular channels that are only visible in a quarter-sawn plank. This truly is the heart of the tree, and only one such plank can come from each tree.
