In October and November, at the XII Interprovincial Exhibition of the Fascist Union of Fine Arts of Milan, Landscape and Portrait Contests, at the Palazzo della Permanente, he exhibited with the painting On the Gorla Bridge.

Between May and July 1943, at the IV National Quadriennale of Art in Rome, the painting Naviglio was exhibited.

After the wartime period, in 1948, he was featured at the XXIV International Art Biennale of the City of Venice with the painting: Winter Landscape - Snowfall.

He participated, outside of competition, in 1949 at the II Premio Suzzara with the paintings Birocciaio and Gli spalatori. Also in 1949, on the occasion of the National Exhibition of Painting and Sculpture 'Premio Mantova 1949' held at the Palazzo della Ragione in Mantova, from December 18 to January 15, 1950, he took part with three works: Lepre, La Cuchi, Pernici e gazza. From May to October 1950, at the Collective Exhibition of Mantovan Artists in the Palazzo Te in Mantova, he exhibited two paintings: Piccolo pagliaccio and Paese invernale. Still in the same year, he was accepted into the XXV Venice International Biennale with the painting: Sunset in Liguria. In September, with the painting Aggiustatore delle reti, he participated in the III Premio Suzzara.

Returns to the Premio Suzzara with two paintings: Fishermen at Bellano, Old peasant also in September 1951. In 1951-52, at the VI Quadriennale in Rome, he is featured with the painting Entrance to Montmartre.

In September 1952, he was accepted into the V Premio Suzzara with the paintings: Sicilian Plowing and Snow Spaders.

In 1953, at the National Art Exhibition - Biennale of Brera at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, the painting Winter Planetarium - Milan was exhibited. The same year, at the VI Suzzara Prize, held in October-November, the painting Resting Worker was exhibited.

From December 1954 to January 1955, he exhibited at the Società per le Belle Arti at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, at the annual exhibition of the Artisti Soci, where he presented the works: Nevicata and Parigi.

At the end of 1955, in November-December, he was present at the XIX Milan Biennale with the painting Regate a Bellano.

From June 24 to July 8 in Dalmine, and from July 14 to August 12 at the Permanente in Milan, he participated in the Premio Dalmine 1956 with the painting Lungomare a Trieste. That same year, he took part in the Premio Marzotto - 4th National Exhibition of Contemporary Painting at the Permanente in Milan, with three works: Autumn, Landscape of Milan: the gardens, Paris: Montmartre.

At the 10th Premio Suzzara, held from September 15 to 29, 1957, it is featured with the painting The boats of Burano.

From December 7 to January 13, 1958, participate in the LXI Annual Exhibition at the Permanente in Milan with two paintings: Composition, Outdoor Restaurant.

From March 2 to 31, 1958, at the Permanente in Milan, at the First National Exhibition - Art and the Feast, he appears with two paintings: Peaches, Outdoor Breakfast. From April 21 to May 19, he participates at the Permanente in Milan in the exhibition Milan of Yesterday and Today through Art, with the painting Public Gardens - Entrance to the Zoo. In November-December, he exhibits at the 20th National Biennale of Milan at the Palazzo della Permanente with the painting Sea at Rapallo; on 'Figurative Art,' Servolini writes: '...Umberto Franzosi, a diligent and sharp researcher of tones...'.

In February 1959, he participated in the Fourth Edition of the contest 'La Bella Italiana nella pittura contemporanea' with the painting Portrait of a Noblewoman. In June, he took part in the 62nd Annual Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, with two works: The Frigid at the Source (watercolor), and Concert (drawing). In April-May, at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, during the exhibition Milan Today and Lombard Cities through Art, he exhibited with the painting Autumn at the Public Gardens. From November to January 1960, at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, he exhibited at the XXI National Biennale of Milan with the painting Borgo Val Taro.

In December 1960, he participated in the 63rd Annual Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, displaying two paintings: Primavera and Luce alpestre.

In 1961, at the Mantovan Figurative Arts Review from the 1800s to the present, held at the Casa del Mantegna from September 25 to October 31, he exhibited three paintings: Gulf of Rapallo, Place Pigalle, Fagiani. From July 19 to August 6, at the Painting Award Friends of Francesco Torri, at the Permanente in Milan, he participated with the painting Landscape - Port of Rapallo. From November 1961 to January 1962, he exhibited at the 22nd National Art Biennale at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan with the painting Autumn in Venice with fog. During the same period, he participated in the National Landscape Award 'Autostrada del Sole' held in Rome, curated by the Quadriennale.

In November-December 1962, at the 64th Annual Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, the artist exhibited the paintings: Mare di Rapallo and Autostrada del Sole.

In 1963, in November-December, at the XXIII National Art Biennale at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, the artist exhibited two works: Mare di Bordighera and Ritratto di Signorina.

From May to June 1964, participated in the Social Exhibition of Painting - Sculpture - Drawing at the Society for Fine Arts, Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, with the painting: S. Ampelio of Bordighera.

From January 30 to February 28, 1965, at the LXVI Annual Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, the painting Costa Azzurra e Fiori was exhibited. The artist participated in the XXIV National Art Biennale City of Milan, from May to October, at the Permanente in Milan with the painting Osteria di campagna.

In February 1966, at the Social Exhibition of Painting - Sculpture - Drawing at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan, he presented two works: Nevicata and Parigi - Montmarte.

In April 1967, participated in the 68th Annual Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan with the painting Montecatini Alta. Additionally, at the 25th National Art Biennale of the City of Milan, exhibited the painting: Rest.

In January-February 1968, he participated in the 68th Annual Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan with three works: Viottolo di Bellano, Parigi - Montmartre, and Il Naviglio (black and white). In the same year, he took part in the International Competition La Donna d’Oggi nella Pittura at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan with the painting Portrait.

Participated in 1970 in the LXX Annual Art Exhibition at the Palazzo della Permanente di Milano with the work The Parrots.

In June-July 1972, at the 72nd Annual Art Exhibition of the Lombard Region at the Permanente in Milan, the artist exhibited the painting Sea of S. Ampelio - Bordighera.

The artist died in Milan on December 12, 1973.

The Galleria d’Arte Moderna of Milan owns its painting Public Gardens in Milan.
