Description from the seller
Original work by the international artist KHOSRAVI.
Her works, brightly colored, capture the eye, which endlessly details a multitude of motifs coexisting in anarchy, perfectly organized and very 'Street Art'.
His universe, inspired by pop art and cartoons, continues to take you on a journey, especially back to childhood. With multicolored paintings featuring numerous characters and icons referencing past years—yet not so distant.
His art, he describes it as a contemporary diary.
Its purpose: to foster a dialogue between the object and its viewer, serving as a reminder of childhood or adolescence memories, a forgotten moment that reemerges through its works, surfacing in our memory.
Their juxtapositions of images blend well-known characters and images saturated with colors.
For his paintings, he works with spray paint and acrylic. Vividly colorful, his creations catch the eye!
Signature at the bottom right and on the back of the work. The piece is a pop reinterpretation, very colorful, of the Mona Lisa, blending numerous contemporary cultural references. In the center, there is a stylized female figure reminiscent of the Mona Lisa, but rendered in a graphic language close to street art: vivid flat colors, graphic motifs, embedded texts, and accentuated outlines. Around her, the artist has incorporated a multitude of iconic elements:
the NASA logo
a character evoking Yoda
dialogue bubbles like « Voting is Rebellion ».
symbols related to money, books, flowers
a variety of pop images and elements of geek and advertising culture.
The whole is framed by an oval outline in rainbow colors, creating an almost neon effect. The style is dense, dynamic, and full of details — typical of an approach blending pop art, visual collage, and urban graphics.
