Very beautiful Poljot Alarm equipped with the iconic 2612.1 manual-wind caliber — a mechanical alarm movement derived from the Swiss AS 1475, but developed further by Poljot into one of the most beloved Russian classical calibers.
This piece is a Limited Edition (480/999) and comes complete with the original Poljot box and documentation. The case is domed and elegantly proportioned, featuring characteristic double crowns: one for winding and setting the alarm, and one for the movement.
The silver-colored dial features a beautiful guilloché pattern and Roman indices, with a central alarm hand and finely detailed markings. The alarm operates mechanically and produces the characteristic 'buzz' that this model is known for. The mechanical alarm sound is generated by a small hammer. The alarm tone lasts about 13 seconds and produces a mechanical rattling sound.
The watch is in good, neat condition, with only slight signs of normal use. The original leather strap is present, with visible signs of aging, but it forms a beautiful historical detail of the piece.
A particularly collectible model that is becoming increasingly rare since the closure of the Moskouse Poljot factory.
