Plate - Porcelain - Qianlong Dish

A Chinese famille rose enamelled octagonal plate, Qianlong period (1736–1795), decorated to the centre with a finely painted courtly garden scene of elegant ladies and attendants, surrounded by an underglaze-blue floral border with iron-red panels. Diameter 22 cm. With a small rim chip at approx. 11 o’clock and a stable, through hairline at approx. 8 o’clock. Otherwise in good condition with fresh enamels.
