For sale is a very rare and decades-old original lithograph by the French painter, lithographer, and illustrator Pierre Le Colas (1930), whose works are associated with surrealism and the fantastical. It is documented that Le Colas was a master student of Salvador Dalí. His works have been exhibited internationally – among them, he had a joint exhibition with Dalí at the Paris gallery Falvart.



The offered lithograph is titled 'Chrysorchide' and is signed by the artist himself with a pencil and numbered '3'. The lithograph was produced by the manufacturer Edition Kuzel Graphics, created in 1986, and was acquired in an art gallery.



The lithograph is in good vintage condition, which is clearly visible in the attached images. The back shows some visible stains and red signature residues, as the lithograph was sealed at the time of purchase. It is on sturdy, very stable paper and is best appreciated when framed.
