Locked in a plexiglass case, this ticket becomes a symbol, an object of desire.
To display on a desk, a designer shelf, or at the heart of a contemporary art collection. Each Lucky Dollar is a promise: that art, indeed, never loses its value.
About the artist :
Originally from the Paris suburbs, Socrate is an artist from the graffiti movement. She showcases a highly contrasting universe by using the raw and immediate nature of graffiti. She enhances the strength and fragility of images, primarily focusing on traits of femininity through intimate and glamorous representations.
Socrates invites graffiti into the boudoir and thus combines a primarily masculine discipline with the elegance and sensuality of feminine aesthetics. She exhibits in several galleries around the world, alongside many renowned artists such as Jonone, Orlinski, Onemizer, C215, Shepard Fairey, Banksy, Kev Munday.
