About the Authors
Agapi Molyviati-Venezi (1900–1995)
Born in Ayvalik, Asia Minor, Molyviati was a distinguished Greek poet and writer. The sister of novelist Elias Venezis, she made her literary debut in 1976 with The Face of Life, followed by The Sonnets (1978), both warmly received by critics.
Ioanna Tsatsou (1904–2000)
A celebrated poet, essayist, and advocate for women’s rights. Sister of Nobel laureate Giorgos Seferis and wife of President Konstantinos Tsatsos, she played a key role in the restoration of democracy in Greece.
Loukia (Lucy) Katsouni
A contemporary Greek poet and essayist based in Athens. Her works explore the boundaries of emotion and intellect through vivid and lyrical expression.

Panos Valsamakis (1900–1986) — Greek painter and ceramicist, widely recognized as the founder of artistic ceramics in Greece.
