Koya is a French DPLG architect by profession and a painter since his adolescence. Carrying out projects focused on Californian architecture, both private and public, he has long been passionate about American architecture from the 40s and 60s. For his creations, he draws inspiration from architects and designers such as Mallet-Stevens, Le Corbusier, Gropius, Mies Van Der Rohe, Arne Jacobsen, Gio Ponti, Franck Lloyd Wright, Rietveld, Niemeyer, Alvar Aalto…
For his pictorial creations, he uses the architectural software AutoCAD Architecture, which allows him to model buildings in 3D. Following this, in the manner of David Hockney, whom he worships, he will use his graphics tablet to paint his "model", radically transforming these architectures into magical landscapes.
