A large and beautiful bronze sculpture depicting the discobolus of Myron.

The nude male disc thrower used to be an ancient sculpture that was made in Greek history (450 BC) by sculptor and bronze caster Myron of Eleutherae. This work is made after the example of this well-known sculpture.

It is made of a great quality bronze and is mounted on a marble base.

Dimensions: 38 x 20 cm.

Weight: 5.2 kilo's.

Condition: excellent, see images.

It is signed, numbered and bears a foundry stamp.
