Description from the seller
Oil paint on panel 0.6 cm
I paint her because this moment moved me.
that half-turned posture, that slight distrust, that searching.
Not exaggerated, no drama.
It's exactly those kinds of moments I'm looking for.
when someone doesn't know where they stand
That small inconvenience is more honest to me than a perfect pose.
In painting, I try to hold onto that honesty.
Not to make it more beautiful, not to smooth it out — just to show how someone truly stands.
with everything that glimmers through
That is why this work exists.
I enjoy creating portraits of young men and teenagers because there is something special visible in that phase of life: a vulnerability that has not yet been hardened by the world. Their faces and bodies carry an ambiguity — they are not fully formed yet, but full of promise and possibilities. What matters most to me is that in-between moment: no longer a child, not yet a man. Within that transition lies a beauty I want to capture, the openness of what can still become and the fragile awareness that this stage is only short-lived.
All series – from self-portraits and aging bodies to young male boxers, women at sunset, and intimate scenes with cats – can be found on my website, where you can also read more about my background and motivations.

I work exclusively with high-quality materials: professionally prepared linen or smooth panels, and top-quality oil paint rich in pigment. Each piece is created with care and dedication—intended to last a long time, not only in terms of material but also in meaning.
My work is an ode to what slowly disappears: body, silence, attention.
Due to vacation congestion, delays may occur in delivery.
