Hand-signed ceramic sculpture titled 'Dame Art Deco' from Austria by Vally WIESELTHIER (1895–1945), measuring 6 × 24 × 7 cm, in fair condition with damage to the neck and dress.
Description from the seller
This ceramic sculpture depicts an elegantly formed female nude figure, standing on a rocky pedestal. The woman has a red flower in her dark hair, adding a playful and decorative accent. With one hand in front of her body and the other along her side, the sculpture exudes a subdued, almost shy posture. The piece is glazed in soft colors – white, blue, and green – with subtle red accents on the face and the flower.
The neck and skirt of the sculpture are damaged.
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
