This work reinterprets the classical iconography of the Archangel Michael, blending the solemnity of ancient painting with a disruptive contemporary intervention. The painted scene, built on dramatic lighting and a formal balance typical of sacred tradition, is literally 'pierced' by a valve applied directly to the artwork: a conceptual gesture that breaks the two-dimensionality of the image and transforms the representation into a tangible, real flow.

The three-dimensional drop that flows from the canvas, deforming the angel's cloak, becomes a symbol of energy, judgment, and revelation. It is no longer just the warrior archangel fighting evil, but a figure that loses its divine distance and invades the observer's space. The intervention creates a short circuit between sacred and human, transcendence and physicality, image and matter, challenging the idea of untouchable iconography.
