Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
The Seiko Super reference 13005 from 1955 showcases early postwar design with a hand wound Seikosha movement and a crane caseback.
Description from the seller
The Seiko Super (reference 13005) is one of the key early models that shaped Seiko’s post-war identity.
Produced in 1955, it belongs to the final generation of the Super series—Seiko’s main three-hand wristwatch line before the introduction of the Marvel in 1956, which later established the brand’s technical reputation.
This example features the Seikosha 10-type hand-wound movement with 8 jewels, one of the more utilitarian yet historically important configurations of the period.
The cream dial has developed a warm vintage patina over nearly seven decades, complemented by applied indices and the raised S emblem, both iconic elements of the Super series.
The stainless-steel caseback carries the crane mark, a hallmark used during this era, along with the reference 13005.
The compact 31.1 mm case embodies the refined and understated proportions typical of 1950s Japanese watchmaking.
Fitted with a new leather strap, the watch maintains a clean, classic appearance while retaining its historical charm.
Running at the time of listing.
As a vintage watch, stable operation, accuracy, and water resistance are not guaranteed.
The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking for safe delivery.
