Who is Monsieur Z?
Richard Zielenkiewicz, known by the pseudonym Monsieur Z, is a renowned French illustrator and graphic designer. Son of an architect, he is passionate about 20th-century architecture and the American Way of Life of the 1950s.
He works as an art director for advertising and then in the press. He creates several animated TV series such as Jet Groove and Ratz, broadcast on France 2 and the children's channel Gulli. He participates in the production of commercials, on television or in magazines, in France and other countries: L’Oréal, Air France, BMW, Swiss Delice coffee, Guess, Monoprix…
Having become independent, Monsieur Z creates colorful, minimalist illustrations inspired by design, architecture, and styles from the 1930s to the 1970s. He has collaborated with many destinations such as St Tropez, Hyères, Chamonix, Cannes, Paris, Corsica, Toulon, the Côte d’Azur, and many more..!
