Description from the seller

One of the very first artworks by this young, promising photographer from Rotterdam. As the daughter of an artist, photography and art were instilled in her from birth. This artwork is ready to hang!

Fine art photography print, mounted on wood. The edition and year are listed on the CoA and on the back of the artwork.

Materials used include: wood, acrylic paint, photo and varnish (glossy).

If two or more works are purchased in the same auction, you only pay shipping costs once.

About the series:
I chose a specific theme for this project: "Nature Up Close." I regularly go photographing with my father early in the morning. You see truly beautiful things early in the morning. All the little insects waking up and warming up, and the beautiful sunrise. It's the perfect time to capture all the flora and fauna up close!

About the artist:
My name is Isabella Tahmassian and I'm 15 years old. I started taking photos when I was 5. My father gave me a camera to practice with, and I was very curious about it. Back then, I often photographed Barbies, stuffed animals, and so on. Now, 10 years later, I'm here, still pursuing my favorite hobby.

I love photographing nature and animals; that's what I'm most interested in. I often use a macro lens. My father, Rouzbeh Tahmassian, is also an artist and photographer, and I've always looked to him as a role model. With macro photography, you see things through the lens that you wouldn't be able to see with your naked eye. It gives me energy and joy when I pick up the camera and take photos. Over the years, I've grown so much and delved deeper into what I truly enjoy. In 2019, I published my first online series with Digifoto Starter, which I was incredibly happy about, and still am! It was a huge step for me and something incredibly special. Our sweet dog, Bowie, is often my patient model for many shoots. He's perfectly fine with everything. You'll definitely see Bowie pop up on my Instagram a lot.
