Published by Frederick Warne and Co., London, 1880s. Publisher’s original dark green cloth boards with black decorations and gilt design and gilt title on upper cover, and spine. All page edges gilt.

Condition:
External covers are clean and in nice shape, with light wear to corners and spine ends. Internally; in nice condition. First blank front free endpaper page appears missing. No names or inscriptions. Pages are clean with some foxing to first and last free endpaper pages, and light age marks to few pages. The attractive plates makes this a truly lovely edition (Please see pictures).
