In a pastel blue sky, a team of vintage divers is captured mid-flight, suspended in graceful, sculptural poses. Their bodies seem to defy gravity. Below them, a neatly stacked pile of cushions—soft, crumpled, and brightly colored—appears as if torn from a bourgeois living room and transported into a metaphysical space. The effect is disorienting, a blend of athletic risk and domestic comfort, almost suggesting that certain acrobatics belong only to the realm of the mind. The series plays with the contrast between danger and safety, inviting viewers to reflect on their own limits and the boundary between reality and fiction.

Andrea Buglisi (Palermo, 1974) is a visual artist and has been teaching Painting Disciplines at the Palermo Art High School since 2005.
Graduated in Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts with a thesis on Graffiti, he has been active since 1996 with works of painting and media hybridization. His creations have been exhibited in prestigious national and international venues, including the Mart in Trento and Rovereto, Riso in Palermo, Stadtgalerie in Kiel, Museum Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf, and the Venice Biennale.
Since 2018, it has focused on urban regeneration through public art and street art, conveying social messages in at-risk neighborhoods. Among its most notable interventions:
