Three vertical pill-shaped forms dominate “Resin,” their deep red surfaces interrupted only by razor-thin lines of exposed canvas. The precision required here borders on surgical - some of these unpainted divisions measure less than a millimeter across, demanding steady hands and absolute concentration. The rounded tops and bottoms of each form create a visual rhythm across the canvas, their slight imperfections revealing the human element behind such controlled execution.

No gestural expression, reduced visible brushwork meant to communicate emotion - just deep red oil paint applied with obsessive care around deliberately preserved blank spaces.
