Particularly rare poster by the American artist and illustrator Charles Herbert Woodbury, titled 'Dutch Woman with Clogs.' It is a lithograph on vellum made in Boston for The Society of Painters in Water Color of Holland and published by Forbes Co.

With the mention ‘Plate 112 of

Charles Herbert Woodbury (Lynn, July 14, 1864 – Boston, January 21, 1940) was an American painter who also worked in the Netherlands from 1890 to 1895. Woodbury was friends with prominent American painters such as John Singer Sargent, Childe Hassam, and Julian Alden Weir. In 1907, he became a member of the National Academy of Design. He died in 1940 at the age of 75. His work can be seen at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
