Description from the seller
Set consisting of eleven work tools, the oldest piece (a padlock) dates back to the early 20th century, while the other tools are from the 1940s-1950s.
I am in decent condition, with signs due to age that do not affect its historical and collectible value.
Tool number one (Photos 2-3). Old sheet metal cutters or tinsmith scissors. They have a robust design, similar to large scissors, with a screw fulcrum and long, curved handles that provide greater leverage for cutting metal. They show signs of wear, but with good cleaning, they remain a collectible piece. Dimensions: Length 30cm.
Tool number two (Photos 4-5). An antique multi-purpose iron tool. The rounded, toothed head suggests it could have been used as a key for nuts or bolts with a specific shape. Dimensions: Length 33cm.
Tool number three (Photos 6-7). Shoemaker's pliers. Dates back to the early 20th century. This tool was used to stretch leather or other materials during shoe making. It is handcrafted. Dimensions: Length 21cm.
Tool number four (Photos 8-9). Manual shear for sheet metal. Antique. Designed for cutting metal sheets; it is made of forged iron or steel. Dimensions: Length 26cm.
Tool number five (Photo 10). Wooden-handled awl. It is used in various trades, including woodworking, leather, and hide processing. Measurements: Length 19cm.
Tool number six (Photos 11-12). Pliers or wire cutters, an antique model used to grasp, cut, or extract objects like nails. Similar tools were used by blacksmiths but also by glassmakers. Measurements: Length 22cm.
Tools number seven and eight (Photos 13-16). A pair of adjustable wrenches, vintage collectible pieces. Similar tools were once included in classic car tool kits such as Fiat or Lancia. Dimensions: Length 20cm.
Tool number nine (Photos 17-18). Blacksmith pliers or wrought iron tongs, used to grasp and manipulate hot metals during forging. They are hand-forged. Dimensions: Length 21cm.
Tool number ten (Photos 19-20). Counterweight or lead weight pliers for wheels, a specialized instrument used by tire technicians. Of course, it is an antique tool made by Selzer, Germany. Dimensions: Length 24cm.
Tool number eleven (Photos 21-22). Antique iron padlock. It features a traditional shape, with a sturdy body and an arch. Unfortunately, it is without a key. Size: Length: 15cm.
