Born in Naples in 1950, where he still resides and works today, Alfredo Grimaldi is an acclaimed artist known for his unmistakable style and bright, joyful colors.
He is one of the most loved and appreciated artists by the public, collectors, and critics (art critic Mario Monteverde called him "The Master of Color" and "The Poet of the Brush"). A lover of beautiful Mediterranean landscapes, he depicts them on canvas in a fairy-tale and poetic key, giving them a unique perspective structure. Each of his paintings is characterized by a shining blue sky, typical Mediterranean houses, and the luxuriant colors of the vegetation.
