AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Title: Try to Understand Me
This striking sculpture invites the viewer into a quiet dialogue—a call for empathy, patience, and depth of perception. Tall, minimalist, and enigmatic, the figure stands motionless, yet speaks volumes. Carved ladders ascend its surface, symbolizing the layered nature of the human soul. Each step represents an effort—a question, a memory, a truth—needed to reach true understanding.
The abstract form resists easy interpretation, echoing the complexity of our inner worlds. The ladders do not offer shortcuts, but rather pathways—deliberate and personal—reminding us that understanding another person requires effort, humility, and time.
Try to understand me—not just what I show, but what I carry inside.

The sculpture was delivered directly by the Polish artist - Karol Dusza. After proper protection, it can also stand in the garden.

_____
Karol Dusza was born in Bytom (Poland) in 1972.

He made his debut in 2000 with a successful exhibition at the Gallery of Siedlce and Podlasie Artists in the Ogiński Palace in Siedlce. He creates works in the convention of symbolic, allegorical and abstract art. Sculptures of human figures are intriguing, such as: the allegory of the unity of a woman and a man (two branches growing from one trunk entwined in an embrace) or the symbolically shown eternal charm of femininity in its seductive shapes, both subtle and overly emphasized. The figures are deformed as if warped by life, symbolically twisted. Noteworthy are the monumental sculptures, almost perfect for placing in the garden in front of the house. The artist is able to extract the "soul" from the material - its shape, grain arrangement, resistance and even color by selecting the appropriate preservatives. No wonder that all of his sculptures are highly expressive.
