This bound editor’s volume no. 9 from 1962 collects issues 863 to 875 of Vaillant’s third series, a well preserved, large format album with a glossy cover.
Description from the seller
Collection of the weekly magazine VAILLANT, 'the most beautiful illustrated magazine for youth' (which became Pif Gadget in 1969).
Publisher binding No. 9 of the year 1962, comprising issues No. 863 to 875 of the third series.
Assembled in very good condition despite fragile newspaper paper tending to yellow and an 'ambitious' binding in such a large format. The headbands are very slightly compressed, with some discreet foxing on the white endpapers (see photos).
Large-format album measuring 27 x 38 cm with a laminated cover (this distinguishes the third series from the previous two), with a square spine printed. The perfectly bound album weighs 1.3 kg.
Throughout the issues, one finds comic strips by Poivet (the pioneers of hope), Arnal (Pif the dog, Placid and Muzo), Joy and Munoz (P'tit Joc), Cézard (Arthur the ghost), Bourlès (Bob Mallard), Bastard (Yves the wolf), Liquois (Fifi), Monzön, Tabary, Forton, Nicolaou, Lécureux, Violet, Leguen, Cheret, Mas, Dufranne...
Shipping is done via Mondial Relay for all served countries (the buyer can choose their Mondial Relay pickup point). I do not ship outside the European continent. For other destinations, please contact me beforehand. Personal delivery is always possible.
