In the Umbrian region, cradle of the pre-Renaissance era.
Important for those initial realistic sparks.
that arose from nature and those empirical forms
Carlo Mirabasso lives in spatial representation.
A humble but reflective artist who, intelligently,
It approaches a way of painting with geometric and rhythmic strokes.
to that primordial expressiveness of volumes of the medieval world.
Perhaps the embryo of all modern art to follow.
A 'delicate harmony' that in its works on the table,
Like 14th-century altarpiece panels, among pre-Cubist studies.
In landscape verticalisms, it is completed in his painting techniques.
Almost marble-like; laden with a subtle material symbolism.
with a mural meaning in which the fresco technique re-emerges,
In that tranquility of places, dear to De Chirico.
In which space and time are they arrested in the image of the frame?
Mirabasso brings to the surface sensations of metaphysical memory.
