A brass floor brazier with a copper patina and a multilevel domed lattice, made in Italy in the 1970s, featuring a paletta for practical use and decorative sculptural detail.
Description from the seller
Floor-standing brass perforated brazier/incense holder (Moorish/Middle Eastern style) with scoop.
Scenographic and decorative floor brazier/incense burner made entirely of patinated brass and copper, featuring a multilayer dome design reminiscent of Moresque or Middle Eastern craftsmanship.
The object consists of two main elements: a sturdy bowl-shaped base supported by three curved feet, which serves as a container for the embers or incense, and a perforated dome cover with geometric inlays, allowing heat and fragrance to diffuse. Additionally, a palette is included in the set.
The upper part of the dome is topped with a pinnacle featuring a decorative figurine, adding a sculptural touch. The entire structure, rich in details and pierced work, is ideal as an accent piece in an eclectic or colonial-style environment, or in spaces that desire a touch of historical exoticism.
Structure: two separable elements (foundation and dome).
Total Height: 69 cm.
Maximum Diameter (Foundation): 40 cm.
Palette 36 x 9 cm
Weight: approximately 3.8 kg.
Conditions: The object has a dark antique patina and signs of use consistent with its nature and age, including possible oxidation inside the base due to heat exposure. It is structurally intact and ready for display.
