A unique and unmistakable model, inspired by the legendary sound and style of Thomas Blug, one of Europe's most esteemed guitarists. The Summer of Love finish makes the instrument a true collector's item, with a psychedelic '60s charm. Thomas Blug explains, "I wanted a guitar that looked good, like Hendrix's, but with all the features of my modern signature guitar." True to Thomas's wishes, the V6MRHDX features the same high-quality specifications as both his prized '61 guitar and his original Vintage Signature V6 guitar. Meticulously aged parts simulate years of wear, while the Blug Signature's 7.5" fingerboard radius, sophisticated switching, and hum-cancelling wiring are replicated. Authentic '60s-style aluminum shielding under the scratch plate reduces hum and static noise, while Thomas's "Bukka" switch provides access to extra sounds via a push-push tone control. Imbued with the sense of freedom for creative expression that embodied the era it was inspired by, the V6MRHDX "Summer of Love" also features a reversed headstock and eye-catching, hand-applied graphics specially created by German artist Daniel Hahn.
