Description from the seller
Junghans mechanical men's watch – circa 1950s – gold-plated case – original dial with characterful patina
Beautiful vintage Junghans watch, probably made in West Germany around the early 1950s. The case (32 mm excluding crown, 40 mm lug-to-lug) is made of gold-plated metal with a subtle color and relief pattern, typical of this period.
The dial forms the aesthetic focal point: a concentric composition in cream, ochre, and black, with raised Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, and slender gold-colored indices. The light, even patina underscores the authenticity of the whole without compromising legibility. The red seconds hand adds an elegant touch to the design.
Inside, a mechanical, hand-wound Junghans movement, matching the models of this generation (e.g., the 80/82 series), runs and winds correctly. The steel case back bears the classic Junghans star logo, as well as the Stainless Steel Back and Shockproof markings.
The strap is a new leather replacement strap; otherwise the watch is completely original.
