Description from the seller
In 'Shapes That Speak,' I explore the possibility that geometric forms can become their own emotional language. This work stems from the desire to reduce the face and human figure to their essential structures, allowing identity to be expressed not through detail but through color, composition, and visual rhythm. I am interested in how, by fragmenting the elements, a silent dialogue emerges between the planes: a conversation that requires no words.
In this piece, the figures seem to be in a shared space, where each block of color acts as a different voice. The blue geometry establishes calm; orange pulses with energy; white introduces clarity; and reds open a point of emotional intensity. It is a work based on the idea of encounter: two presences that observe each other, recognize each other, and inhabit the same territory without losing their individuality.
I work from intuition, allowing lines and planes to build unpredictable relationships. The result is a balance between order and spontaneity, where the human emerges from abstraction. What interests me most is that intermediate zone where the face ceases to be a face and becomes a symbol, a structure embodying emotions that cannot be named.
"Shapes That Speak" is, in essence, a reflection on non-verbal communication: about everything we convey through presence, color, and form.
