Kakadu Hand-Painted Wooden Serving Tray with Abstract Geometric Decoration
Hand-painted wooden tray by Kakadu Design.
Produced circa 1990s.
Functional decorative tray featuring abstract geometric artwork in layered stains and pigments.
Wood construction with integrated side handles.
Signed on the front by the artist (Lud S.) and stamped Kakadu on the reverse.
Kakadu is an Israeli studio established by Aharon and Reut Shachar in Tsafririm, a rural cooperative village surrounded by historic natural landscapes. Their work is based on hand-produced objects made in small studio settings, emphasising craftsmanship, natural materials, and individuality. This tray reflects the studio’s approach of creating unique, hand-finished household items.
Condition:
Light surface wear consistent with age and use. No structural damage. The painted surface retains its original finish and colour saturation.
