Description from the seller
Ferrari Granturismo Chronograph Automatic – Officine Panerai
Reference FER00008 – Individual number FA664/700
This example of the Ferrari Granturismo Chronograph Automatic, designed and manufactured by Officine Panerai for Ferrari, is presented in a very attractive overall condition, fully retaining its sporty presence, craftsmanship quality, and identity as a limited edition collectible piece.
Case and finishes
The 45 mm stainless steel case maintains its structural integrity and defined lines. It shows slight signs of use visible under certain lights, mainly micro-scratches and surface marks typical of everyday wear, with no dents or deformations. The bezel retains its shape, and the brushed/polished contrast remains very uniform.
Sphere and glass
The black dial with yellow accents, characteristic of this collaboration, is in excellent condition, with no discolorations, stains, or printing flaws. The sapphire crystal offers impeccable transparency and shows no scratches, ensuring a perfect view of the dial.
Background and engravings
The screwed-in back clearly preserves the engraving of the Cavallino Rampante and the original decorative geometry. There are signs of wear and superficial scratches, common in this area, which do not affect the readability or the value of the piece. All engraved information remains sharp and perfectly legible.
Crown and pushers
The crown and pushers retain their knurled finish, maintain good definition, and function properly. They show slight and uniform wear, consistent with responsible use, without affecting their performance or the operation of the chronograph.
Strap and clasp
The original Ferrari rubber strap maintains its structure, flexibility, and proper shape, with no cracks or weakening. The steel deployment clasp shows visible surface marks but retains firmness, mechanical strength, and optimal functioning.
Operation
The automatic movement and the chronograph module exhibit stable operation. The activation of the pushers is precise, and the overall performance of the watch is perceived as correct, in line with the caliber used by Panerai in this series.
Conclusion
This Ferrari Granturismo Chronograph Automatic, number FA664, within a limited edition of 700 units, is offered in a very well-preserved condition. Signs of use are consistent with its year of manufacture and do not affect its appearance or functionality. Its condition, combined with the original documentation and its Ferrari case, makes it a highly attractive piece for collectors and enthusiasts of both Panerai and Ferrari's automotive legacy.
