The "Verwaltung der Staatsweingüter Eltville" (Administration of the State Wineries Eltville) is the state-owned winery organization (now: Hessian State Wineries / Eberbach Monastery) based in Eltville in the Rheingau.
Erbacher Marcobrunn is a highly rated single-vineyard (Großlagen) area in the Rheingau (Erbach) – steep, often very calcareous south-facing slopes, ideal for long-aging Riesling. Already mentioned in the 13th century, Marcobrunn is one of the oldest vineyards in Germany by name; for centuries, it has been considered one of the Rheingau's absolute top locations. Historically, the site was owned by Eberbach Monastery, one of the largest and most important wineries in Europe.
The wine was optimally stored in the wine cellar and will be shipped in bottle shipping boxes with PTZ approval DHL and UPS for safe transport.
