Elegant Art Deco vase designed by Charles Catteau, head of the decor workshop at Boch Frères Keramis. This concerns form number 1208, a typical round-shaped Catteau vase on a profiled foot, executed in a monochrome cream/ivory glaze.

The vase is marked at the bottom with the correct Boch Frères – La Louvière – Made in Belgium stamp and bears the model number 1208 engraved. This model belongs to the sober, timeless designs from Catteau’s production of the 1920s–1930s.
