Description from the seller
Golden Light
A painting of memory and transformation
Birch branches in the silent space of a cool sky, as if blown over from another time – firmly rooted in the present, yet speaking of something past. The work Golden Light is not merely a natural image. It is an invitation to contemplation, an approach to the invisible that lies between things. The trees, their gnarled bark, the fleeting gold of their leaves – they stand like figures of memory, upright in a state of suspension between light and shadow, holding on and letting go.
The painting on the high-quality canvas bears the weight of the material world as well as the lightness of a memory image. In the layers of color – the shimmering white of the trunks, the warm gold, the night-dark blue – lies a knowledge of passing time. At the same time, there is a hesitation to fully accept this letting go. The trees almost seem like carriers of a story that is not told, yet still perceptible – a story of silence, of light filtering through branches, of moments that shine brighter in memory than in reality.
Golden Light evokes a world that communicates not through the concrete but through the atmospheric. What becomes visible here is not just nature, but a state – the quiet glow of an early morning, the golden remnants of an afternoon, the scent of autumn in the air. These are the inner images that have no precise time or place but are deeply embedded in the bodily memory.
This painting is not a place of explanation, but a place of encounter. Between the motif and the canvas, there is space—for memories, for questions, for one's inner light.
