The bronze statue depicted is a reproduction of the famous 'Hermes in Ruhe' (also known as 'Seated Hermes').
The original is a Roman bronze sculpture from the 1st century BC.
The statue was discovered in 1758 during excavations in Herculaneum.
It shows the young messenger god Hermes resting on a rock.
The original is currently housed in the Archaeological National Museum in Naples.

It is in very good condition.
Beautiful patina and no damages.
