Jewellery Box – Erhard & Söhne – Brass and Silvered Metal – Early 20th Century – Germany
A richly decorated jewellery box by Erhard & Söhne, the renowned German manufacturer known for its luxurious brass objects de vertu and exquisite Jugendstil and historicist designs.
This piece features deeply embossed ornamentation with scrolling acanthus motifs, architectural columns, and two dancing cherubs in the centre. The contrast between the silvered relief and the gilded brass frame gives the box its characteristic Erhard & Söhne elegance.
Marked on the outside with the Erhard & Söhne factory stamp and model number 6411/10, indicating an authentic atelier piece.
