She studied at the Kosta and Orrefors Glass School. She also studied at the University for Light in Jönköping and Science Journalism in Stockholm.

Between March and May 2013, Elna Jolum exhibited at Tomelilla Konsthall. The exhibition was based on ideas from the sea, mixed with the flower meadow.
