Description from the seller
Original 2D silkscreen print
Artist: James Rizzi.
Take the train to Harlem.
Paper size approximately 50.0 x 40 cm
Size of the motif approximately 40.5 x 30 cm.
Limited to 175 copies.
Large, rare print from 1994 with vivid colors.
Signed, titled, and numbered at the back.
High-quality sample print ('Flat-Print') outside the regular edition as a 3D construction.
These works by Rizzi convey a cheerful and optimistic image of the modern metropolis New York and are characterized by their colorful and partly childishly naive design. A classic Rizzi motif with the day/night division and the laughing houses.
For each edition, there are some so-called 'Overruns'. These are of great importance to the production process of the edition and are highly rare, as they usually remain with the publisher and do not enter the trade. The originals and 3D constructions are scarce and almost no longer available!
You will receive the finished sheet in an aluminum frame for hanging, as shown in the product photos, from the exclusive series.
I package securely and ship with tracking to ensure your artwork arrives undamaged.
