Artist B. Morales presents the acrylic painting 'Guardián del tiempo' XL, an original edition from 2025, 95 × 75 cm, hand-signed, in excellent condition, from Spain, depicting nature with geometric forms as an organic clock.
Description from the seller
In this work, the geometric shapes unfold like an organic clock, where each color marks a moment and each line holds a fragment of memory. The 'Guardian of Time' stands as a tree-clock: firm, luminous, pierced by layers that evoke cycles, seasons, and silent rebirths. An invitation to contemplate how the natural and the urban intertwine to guard the pulse of time.
Inspired by Ginkgo biloba, a millenary tree native to China and considered a living fossil, this plant symbolizes perseverance, adaptation, and resilience. The shape of its leaves has been interpreted as a balance between opposites, a dialogue between life and memory, between the rational and the emotional. Precisely this geometry in its leaves, soft yet structured, naturally connects it to the series 'Natural Architectures,' of which this work is a part: a series that explores the geometric and emotional abstraction of the plant world from a perspective influenced by the aesthetics and elegance of Art Déco.
B. Morales is a visual artist graduated in Havana, Cuba. Her work explores the connection between patterns in nature and modernity, this time inspired by the style and elegance of Art Déco. She has developed her artistic practice in various international contexts, and her work is part of important private collections in Europe and America...
