Swiss watch manufacturing
ANGELUS
The Stolz Frères SA manufactory was founded in 1891 in Le Locle by brothers Gustav and Albert Stolz. In 1902, the Angelus brand was registered. During the 1930s and 1940s, Angelus gained a good reputation primarily for its chronographs. These were equipped with in-house manufactured movements.
Rare collector's watch by Angelus in 18K gold.
Original dial - Original movement of own production - Original case
Year of manufacture of the watch around 1940.
Original dial. Not refinished. Signed ANGELUS below 12. Gold wedge numerals with Arabic 12/2/4/6/8/10 numbers. Stop seconds hand with luminous material - gold-colored. Two auxiliary dials. Small seconds at nine. 30-minute counter at three. Chronograph hands gold-colored. Outer scales in blue and black. Luminous squares outside - luminous material partly missing.
Eigencaliber Angelus 250 (engraved) in original condition. A caliber that makes collectors' hearts beat faster. A movement of masterful quality. The movement is signed ANGELUS Watch Swiss.
Work, chronograph, and date functions are operational.
In pressed case back exterior, female head hallmark 132 in the shoe, ANGELUS 18K 0.750 55823 28.
The watch is in very beautiful original condition with normal signs of use.
Watch size 31mm without crown, with 32mm - with lugs 48mm - weight 36g
Fantastic ear experiences
Blue leather strap - 16mm width - Length with watch 22cm. The leather strap is not shipped outside the EU.
