Six-piece Liberty-style bathroom set in transparent blown Murano glass from the early 1900s, made in Italy, with overall dimensions about 3 cm high by 8 cm wide and 4 cm deep, condition described as very good with light signs of wear and age.
Description from the seller
Splendid and rare early 1900s Liberty-style bathroom set in Murano glass, double-colored transparent with a special work in the shape of a hedgehog or cactus, composed of six pieces. Lalique created this set shape, called 'cactus,' due to its craftsmanship. All objects have glass bubbles on the outside, which adds uniqueness and value to the items.
Generally, bathroom sets are found smooth or in colored glass, often incomplete. Finding a complete set with all accessories and, above all, well-crafted is rare, which makes it a unique lot.
The first two trays have an oval shape decorated in glass and measure 20 cm in length by 8 cm in width.
The third tray for placing soap or other items measures 12 cm by 8 cm.
The round bowl with lid, made with the same craftsmanship, has a diameter of 9 cm and a height of 10 cm, with a handle crafted to lift the lid. It is used to hold earrings, cotton, or other small items.
The two rounded perfume bottles are 13 cm tall and feature the design of rounded lines with a riccio work, incorporating blown glass beads. One of the two is complete with a hanging cord, while the other is missing it and has a small chip. However, since it is at the bottom, as shown in the last photo, it is not visible and does not detract from the set's value.
I found them at home like this, without a pump, kept on a console in the bathroom, but since I had several, I am selling some of them.
Objects of the past, for decorating a bathroom or placed on furniture as ornaments.
For shipping, I use private couriers instead of Poste Italiane because the item arrives faster, with double packaging using a thousand bubbles and sponge, then placed in a box with polystyrene. The costs are higher based on volume since each item is individually packed.
Due to the delicacy of the objects, the box will have a certain volume.
Shipping costs will vary depending on whether the destination is Europe or regions such as Eastern European countries, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, which will be more expensive, and tier three areas like Norway, Malta, Cyprus, and the rest of the world.
Customs duties will be borne by the buyer.
