Simon Vinkenoog (Amsterdam, July 18, 1928 – ibid., July 12, 2009) was a Dutch writer, poet, and elocutionist/performer avant la lettre. Simon Vinkenoog was an outsider his entire life. He was a member of the Vijftigers (Fifties) and edited the one-man magazine "Blurb" from Paris. He was no stranger to controversy.
